“English Only Please”

UPAA-NL would like to thank the movie guests, movie producer Quantum Films, sponsors, donors, performers, and raffle draw participants during its event “English Only, Please”, A Movie Gala On Board the ss Rotterdam. This event was held to support UPAA-NL’s project assisting the reconstruction of the UP Tacloban university facilities. The movie gala took place on Sunday, 27 September 2015, 13:00 to 17:30 at the ss Rotterdam (Theatre and Queen’s Lounge). In the Theatre “English Only, Please”, an award- winning Philippine film, was shown. After the film, a programme, raffle draw and commercial activities from our partners and sponsors took place. The grand raffle prize was an overnight stay for two on board the ss Rotterdam. Other prizes were donated by Phil4You, Baryo Pilipinas, Arms Fashion, Mabuhay Travel, Toko4All, Jenmarvelyn, and Labstuff.

In particular we would like to thank Ambassador Jaime Victor Ledda, who gave a speech before the film showing.
