The University of the Philippines -The Netherlands Chapter, (UPAA-NL) is an independent association (“vereniging”) of UP alumni residing, working or studying in The Netherlands. It was founded in 1992 and re-established in 2006. It is duly accredited by the UP Office of Alumni Relations in accordance with the constitution and by-Laws of the University of the Philippines Alumni Association, Inc.

Since its founding, UPAA-NL has been engaged in projects related to the University of the Philippines. Current project is to help in re-establishing the book collection of the UP Tacloban Main Library.

English Only, Please”, A Movie Gala On Board the ss Rotterdam

This event was held to support UPAA-NL’s project assisting the reconstruction of the UP Tacloban university facilities. The movie gala took place on Sunday, 27 September 2015, 13:00 to 17:30 at the ss Rotterdam (Theatre and Queen’s Lounge). In the Theatre “English Only, Please”, an award- winning Philippine film, was shown. After the film, a programme, raffle draw and commercial activities from our partners and sponsors took place. The grand raffle prize is an overnight stay for two on board the ss Rotterdam.
